Monster attraction boosts Sesame Street park
POSTED 23 Apr 2014 . BY Jason Holland
The park combines the character of the TV show with family rides, water attractions and shows
Sesame Place, the US theme park based on long-running children’s show Sesame Street, will open an entirely new themed area next month – its largest ever renovation.

The Langhorne, Pennsylvania park’s new Cookie’s Monster Land features five new rides, a three-storey net climb and a soft play area.

The popular Cookie Monster character and a plethora of monster friends feature throughout the themed area, whose central attraction is Captain Cookie’s High “C’s” Adventure, a track-based ride with multiple small inclines that mimic the gentle rolling waves of the ocean.

Cookie’s Monster Land will also include a food market and interactive photo location.

No construction or other costs were disclosed.

The SeaWorld Entertainment-operated park opens its doors for the 2014 season on 3 May.
