The Access Sessions are an integral part of the Event Production Show which takes place on 2-3 February 2010 at Olympia in London, UK.
On the first day, Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis will be discussing the festival's past 40 years and his plans for 2010.
Later that day, Rugby Football Union Tournaments Director Terry Burwell will detail the process behind England's winning bid to host the 2015 Rugby World Cup. Burwell is a lead member on the RFU steering group for the 2015 event, which is set to inject up to £1bn into the British economy.
On day two, 'Brands on the Run' will focus on sports and events sponsorship. The panel of experts will include Karen Earl, chairperson of the European Sponsorship Association (ESA) and chairperson of Synergy. Karen is also the first winner of The Sunday Times Business Woman of the Year, presented to the most inspirational woman running a business within the sports industry.
Alongside Earl will be Lee Bailey, Senior Sponsorship and Events Manager at Diageo GB. The company has signed a deal with Premier Rugby to extend its sponsorship of the Guinness Premiership for another season. Also on the panel will be Peter Spencer, managing director of the Gaymer Cider Company, the official festival cider at Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds and Bestival events in 2009. Paul Samuels, Executive Director of Sponsorship at AEG, and Relentless Energy Drinks representative Les Seddon-Brown complete the line-up of experts.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |
