Patriots Point named as site for National Medal of Honor Museum

Patriots Point, the naval and maritime-themed attraction in South Carolina, US,
is to become the home of a new US$100m (EUR81.1m, £64.1m) National Medal of
Honor Museum. It follows an agreement between the Patriots Point Development
Authority (PPDA) and the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.

New director for Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History

Kirk Johnson has been named director of the Smithsonian Institution's National
Museum of Natural History (NMNH) in Washington, DC, with effect from 29 October.
It comes after Cristián Samper announced his decision to step down from the role
to become president and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society.

Construction begins on Adventure World Warsaw
