The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has put its weight behind VERVE 04, the lifestyle and fitness forum, as part of its initiative to enhance Dubai's image as a premier leisure destination.
The two-day forum launches this month with the aim of raising the profile of health and fitness in the region with workshops, seminars and interactive forums.
Dubai’s rapidly growing leisure industry is estimated to be worth in excess of DHS100m (£15m).
There are more than 50 health clubs in Dubai and most the hotels – more than 350 – offer health clubs too.
