Visitors to Australia’s Sydney Tower can now experience the Skywalk without having to book in advance.
The tower has altered its booking system so that guests can simply upgrade their Tower ticket to include the Skywalk once they are on the Observation deck.
“Since Skywalk opened in 2005, thousands of visitors have tested their willpower by stepping out onto our rooftop and then venturing out onto our glass-floor platforms, suspended 260 metres above Sydney’s streets,” said Sydney Tower marketing manager Jodie Crane.
“We think even more people will take the challenge with our new format, which lets people sign up for a Skywalk once they are on our Observation Deck rather than having to book in advance.”
The Skywalk lasts 45 minutes and offers 360-degree views over Sydney Harbour and out to the Blue Mountains. Guests wear protective suits and are attached to safety rails.
