Blackpool Tower Circus awards

For the third year running, Blackpool Tower Circus has scooped three out of seven national awards bestowed by the Circus Friends Association.

The non-animal Tower Circus has been voted Best UK Circus, with Los Alamos, a knife-throwing act winning Best UK Ground Act, and Mooky being named Best UK Clown. Martin Blore, executive general manager of the Leisure Parcs owned Blackpool Tower and Circus said: 'It has proved that Blackpool Tower's continued investment in providing live entertainment has resulted in this impressive line-up of awards.'

The Circus Friends Association travels throughout the UK visiting international circuses. Details: www.theblackpooltower.co.uk
