Tourism UK, the newly launched federation formed to raise awareness of the importance of tourism to the British economy, has hosted the first UK tourism summit.

The aim of the summit was to agree a ten-year vision for UK tourism, which included looking at the government's responsibility for the future of tourism, as well as the client and product of the future.
