Disney to open Art of Animation Resort in 2012

Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has revealed details of its new Art of Animation resort hotel, due to open at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida in 2012.

Located close to the existing Pop Century Resort, the resort will house 1,120 suites and 864 bedrooms - all themed using Disney cartoon characters such as Finding Nemo, Cars, The Lion King and Little Mermaid.

The resort will offer easy access to the adjacent Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Resort Guests can enjoy complimentary transportation to and from the theme and water parks.
