Hotels have been among the main beneficiaries of a 'good' 2010 for London's West End, according to new research from Colliers International.
According to theproperty advisory firm's Destination Tracker, some hotel operators in the West End have seen occupancy return to pre-recession levels.
Although footfall and overseas visitor numbers were slightly down during 2010, Colliers said the weak pound had continued to drive increasing inbound tourism expenditure.
Domestic tourism figures for the area have shown 'little change'.
