France-based AV company Total Immersion has expanded its portfolio of products with the launch of a new augmented reality attraction.
Developed in cooperation with Japanese Hanwa Co, the new product is based on a walk through experience which mixes videogame interactives and real live adventure.
Guests are equipped with a backpack and a video gun (with an infrared camera, one LCD display and a trigger).
Carrying a video gun, they then progress inside a “house of horrors” to find and shoot ghosts.
Bruno Uzzan, Total Immersion’s chief executive officer, said: "We're demonstrating the magical ability of augmented reality to capture visitors' attention and imagination.
"Guests experience real time interaction with augmented reality content and are pulled into real life videogame, dynamically."
