Henry Robin Ian Russell, 14th Duke of Bedford, has died aged 63.
It was his father, John, the 13th Duke, who opened Woburn Abbey to the public in 1955 and Robin took over the running of the 16,000 acre estate in 1974 when his father retired.
In 2002, he in turn handed control to his son Andrew, who now inherits the title of 15th Duke.
