Emlyn Brown, Mia Kyricos and Franz Linser headlining World Spa & Wellness Convention

The event will also take time to celebrate and reward industry excellence at its annual World Spa and Wellness Awards ceremony
The 2022 World Spa and Wellness Convention will kick off this weekend, hosted from 3-4 April at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre.

The two-day in-person conference is curated for international spa and hotel directors to network and share their experience of operating successful spas, as well as engaging in panels with leaders from within the industry.

The schedule includes a variety of panel discussions, workshops, keynotes and networking opportunities.

This year's speaker line-up includes industry figures from across the global sector;

• Andrea Lomas – head of group spa operations at Four Seasons.
• Aysun Mut - director of spa at Espa Life at Corinthia.
• Emlyn Brown – vice president of wellbeing at Accor.
• Franz Linser – CEO of Linser Hospitality.
• Helena Grzesk – COO at British Beauty Council.
• Kent Richards - corporate operations director, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas
• Lasse Eriksen – vice-president of the International Sauna Association.
• Mia Kyricos – president and CEO of Kyricos & Associates.
• Nils Behrens – chief marketing officer at Lanserhof Group.
• Sandie Johannessen – director of health and wellness at Zulal by Chiva-Som.

Speaker topics range from hyper-personalisation at spas, lessons from the pandemic and mental wellness programmes to transformational wellness travel and how the sector can make the most of the pent-up demand for experiences and travel.

The event will be topped off with a chance to celebrate industry excellence through the conference's annual World Spa and Wellness Awards.

This year, winners will be announced on Sunday night at a dedicated awards gala hosted aboard a luxury yacht. Categories up for grabs include Spa Group of the Year, Team of the Year and Worldwide Health & Wellness Destination of the Year, among others.
