Outdoor structures specialists Neptunus built several temporary structures for the recent Pavilion of Art & Design 2011 in London.
Taking place on Berkeley Square, the major art event opened its doors for the fifth time and welcomed 58 international exhibitors.
Neptunus erected a large Alu Hall, Double Decker and an Alure Globe, covering a surface area of more than 3,800sq m (41,000sq ft). This was on a protected site, some of whose many mature trees were incorporated within the footprint of the temporary buildings.
It was the second time Neptunus had built for the Pavilion of Art & Design. Temporary structures were also supplied for the 2010 exhibition in Paris.
The Pavilion of Art & Design is one of the largest modern art exhibitions in the world and enjoyed a record number of exhibitors for the 2011 event.
Art galleries from Barcelona, Brussels, Milan, New York, Paris and Stockholm were able to showcase their artworks to the public over a five-day period.
