Asian Attractions Expo 2016 to take place in Shanghai

Following a successful 2015 edition in Hong Kong, IAAPA has announced that the 2016
Asian Attractions Expo (AAE) will be hosted at Shanghai New International Expo Centre
(SNIEC), marking the event’s return to mainland China after the 2014 event was held in
Beijing.

The Royal Portfolio adding 5-star hotel in historic Cape Town grain elevator

The Royal Portfolio is adding a fifth property, The Silo, to its range of exclusive hotels,
lodges and villas in South Africa. The Silo, so named because it is being built in the grain
elevator portion of the historic Grain Silo Complex, will be situated directly above what is
set to become the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (MOCAA) in Cape Town.

Disneyland worth US$5.7bn annually to California

A new independent economic study has suggested that California’s Disneyland resort is
responsible for more than US$5.7bn (€5bn, £3.6bn) in economic activity across the south
of the state, supporting more than 28,000 regional jobs in the process.
