Visit Dubai and Real Madrid sign "landmark" global partnership ahead of theme park opening

Spanish football club, Real Madrid, has signed a global partnership agreement with Visit Dubai
The deal has been designed to generate new growth opportunities for both parties globally
The collaboration is part of the emirate's recently announced Dubai-D33 Economic Agenda
The signing comes as Dubai prepares to open the world's first Real Madrid theme park
Spanish football club, Real Madrid, has signed a global partnership agreement with Visit Dubai, which aims to generate new growth opportunities for both parties.

The collaboration, which is part of the emirate's recently announced Dubai-D33 Economic Agenda, will offer a wide range of "unique and special" experiences for Dubai and Real Madrid fans.

The deal was signed as Dubai prepares to open the world's first Real Madrid theme park, located at Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Emilio Butragueño, a former Real Madrid forward and the club's director of Institutional Relations, said: "We're very proud of this new partnership with Visit Dubai as the club's first official destination.

"Dubai is striving for excellence in all its entertainment activities, a goal shared by the club.

"We are delighted to be bringing this exciting tourist destination to our fanbase of millions of madridistas around the world."

CEO of Dubai Holding Entertainment, Fernando Eiroa, added: "We are delighted that Real Madrid has chosen Dubai Parks and Resorts as its partner in our quest to bring the best international entertainment brands to the region."
