The Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms has teamed up with Blenheim Palace to mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Winston Churchill.

The two attractions are offering a joint ticket which will enable visitors to gain insight into Churchill’s life – he was born in Blenheim and delivered his most famous speeches from the Cabinet War Rooms.

Ticket holders will also have the chance to visit the Temple of Diana, in the grounds of the palace, where a 34-year-old Churchill proposed to his future wife, Clementine.

The Churchill Museum opened to public at the Cabinet War Rooms in February as part of a £14m extension plan.
