Birmingham leisure destination StarCity is to launch its £1.6m Star Attractions facilities on 23 April.
The Star Attractions have been built within the main atrium of the X-Leisure owned StarCity and are primarily aimed at attracting families from all over the region.
Covering 400,000sq ft (37,161sq m) and designed by Dubai-based leisure group Select Contracts, the attractions include a 98ft real mini snow slope; a 30ft high rock climbing wall; a 49ft aerial rope assault course, running around the top of the atrium, a coffee house and an interactive Chamber of Horrors.
Star Attractions joins the existing facilities at StarCity, which include restaurants, cafés, a health club, casino and multi-screen Vue Cinema.
There are also plans to introduce further sporting and outdoor recreational activities to the scheme.
Chief executive of X-Leisure, PY Gerbeau, said: “Our attractions pack a lot of activity into a very compact space. It’s a guaranteed, action-packed day.” Details: www.starcitycentre.co.uk
