Scottish businesses to benefit from Disney Institute training
POSTED 28 Aug 2012 . BY Pete Hayman
Image: The event will take place on 27 September

Disney Institute - the professional development division of The Walt Disney Company - is to give Scottish businesses the chance to benefit from its training at an event next month.

Quest for Excellence - the institute's UK partner - is co-ordinating the event in association with motivational agency Thinktastic and events management agency Matchpoint.

Disney Institute trainers will fly in for a full-day of training on 27 September at Mansfield Traquair House and will offer an "insider's look" at Disney's business philosophies.

Targeted at chief executives and other senior executives, topics include Disney's Approach to Leadership Excellence and Disney's Approach to Selection, Training and Engagement.

It is hoped the event will enable Scottish businesses to learn how to develop shared visions with their employees and ensuring a 'can-do' attitude to their work.

Thinktatic managing director Mike Stevenson said: "This is a rare opportunity to learn from a leadership philosophy that unerringly delivers high staff morale, high productivity and high profile.

"It is not a coincidence that no global brand has enjoyed the same enduring customer loyalty or appeal. Scots have a special affection for Disney - recently reinforced by the global success of Brave, the new film by Disney-owned Pixar."
