The first Scottish Tourism Week will launch on 27 March this year.
Devised to raise awareness of tourism as an important and sustainable industry for Scotland, the five-day event programme will include an industry dinner attended by the minister for tourism Frank McAveety.
It will also feature a Tourism Day on 31 March, involving industry workshops, looking at e-commerce development, Scotland’s international place in tourism, overseas marketing, customer service and innovation in tourism. Details: www.stforum.co.uk
