Alexandra Palace has been made available on a 125-year lease by its owner, the Alexandra Palace and Park Charitable Trust.
The move is part of an investment strategy launched earlier in the year, which could see the property turned into a casino, hotel or a high-capacity nightclub.
Keith Holder, general manager, hopes to shortlist potential partners and secure a preferred bidder in early January 2006.
“We are offering the opportunity to let the building for up to 125 years in either part, parts or whole,” he said.
“It will then be the job of our project team to evaluate the bids to ensure the Palace has a secure and prosperous future.”
It is rumoured that owners of Earls Court & Olympia, St James Capital, are interested in bidding.
