Sleep is the most important thing we can learn to master
– Malminder Gill
A boutique hotel in the heart of Chelsea, London, has unveiled a partnership with esteemed Harley Street hypnotherapist and sleep expert, Malminder Gill, to help its guests get a better night's sleep.

The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, is planning to launch the new collaboration through a complimentary Sleep Concierge service, once the hotel reopens after lockdown.

With over 70 per cent of the nation admitting to struggling with insomnia over the last nine months, support and education surrounding quality sleep and good sleep hygiene have never been more relevant.

Moreover,The GWI’s recent study, called Defining the Mental Wellness Economy, named Senses, spaces and sleep as a US$49.6bn (€41.7bn, £37.6bn) contributing sector to the emerging US$121bn (€101.6bn, £91.8bn) mental wellness segment in the global wellness economy.

Gill has drawn on her 15 years’ experience in sleep and managing anxious thoughts to aid rest and relaxation to help create the new service, including a sleep-inducing meditative recording available in guest rooms via the hotel app.

“Sleep is the most important thing we can learn to master, and when staying in one of The Cadogan’s sumptuous suites, guests can listen to my exclusive recording and drift off,” she commented.

This will be complemented by a sleep menu with a choice of luxurious pillows to suit guests who might prefer to sleep on their back or side, the option of a weighted blanket, Cadogan’s bedtime tea developed specifically for the service and a scented pillow mist to support the best possible night’s sleep.

To round off the offering, Gill has also created an uplifting morning motivation recording to set guests up for the day ahead.

For a more personalised experience, guests will also be able to book an in-person one-on-one appointment with Gill. This has a starting price of £500 (US$683, €568) and requires advance booking.

The sleep service will be included in all Cadogan guest rooms, which have a starting rate of £530 (US$724, €602).

Guests looking for an even more in-depth wellbeing focus will have the option to visit the hotel’s exclusive spa suite for massages, facials and beauty treatments, supplied by luxury British product house Bamford.
