Bosworth Battlefield visitor centre and country park in Leicestershire is undergoing a £2m refurbishment.
The existing exhibition in the visitor centre will be revitalised with new displays on Medieval life and warfare, as well as information on the history of Tudor England and the Wars of the Roses.
A new battle room will feature graphics re-telling the events of the War of the Roses. It will present alternate theories about the site of the battle, including archaeological surveys, results and artefacts, with explanations by costumed guides.
In addition, a new film on the Battle of Bosworth, the Wars of the Roses and the lives of Richard III and Henry VII will be presented.
The creation of a new Buttery restaurant in a 14th-century Medieval church tithe barn has already been completed. Details: www.leics.gov.uk
