With its varied cultural offer, theatre De Lawei is the beating heart and cultural meeting place of Drachten in the Netherlands. It is an open house for performing arts, where creators and enthusiasts can meet in the best possible circumstances.
De Lawei started implementing ReCreateX as a ticketing solution in 2010, after which they decided to gradually replace all software for cash register sales, bookings and arrangements by the RCX modules in question.
In 2016, ReCreateX is now being used for ticket sales (online in collaboration with Peppered), catering sales (including table sales with table plan), bookings and files.
The strength of RCX for the theatre is that it can rely on one single integrated software solution for all their commercial, planning and administrative activities, which saves time as well as money and optimises internal communication.
De Lawei was opened in 1960 and has been among the best theatres in the Netherlands ever since. Its varied offering and the hospitality of its staff turn De Lawei into a great place to enjoy performances.
Each year, some 290 theatre shows are programmed, from upcoming cabaret artists up to big musicals. In May 2015, De Lawei was festively reopened after a thorough renovation. De Lawei is also often rented for shows, drinks, meetings, congresses etc.
