ETC UK has completed a four-day artwork projection at Durham Cathedral as part of the "Lumière" Durham Festival of Light event.
Entitled "Crown of Light", the work covered the entire North fascia of the Cathedral as well as all sides of the three towers and is one of the UK's largest projections to date.
A 16-minute show in total, the production consisted of seven PIGI 6KW machines, positioned at a range of distances from 20m-150m, with each of the machines covering a separate area of the building.
The show told a story about the history of the Cathedral - dating back to 1093 - including the Lindesfarne Gospels, which are noted for their spectacular imagery and Celtic calligraphy.
