Two attractions supported by Millennium Commission money open their doors this month. The Glasgow Science Centre on the banks of the River Clyde opens today and will bring science to life with 300 interactive exhibits. The National Space Centre in Leicester will be launched on 30 June, complete with space artefacts, interactive exhibits and a planetarium. The star feature is the Challenger Learning Centre, the first of its kind outside North America which offers schoolchildren the chance to become astronauts on a space station and scientists working at mission control.
