Brighton’s Sea Life Centre is investigating after comedian, Guy Venables, went skinny dipping in its shark tank for a £1 bet.
He had entered the Sea Life Centre with a hired film crew and centre staff – who were unaware of his antics at the time – were later tipped off about the incident by the Argus newspaper.
The stunt, on Friday 30 May, has shocked the aquarium's staff, who said Venables' actions could have endangered their animals. They are currently studying CCTV footage before deciding whether to prosecute.
Aquarium spokesperson, Lisa Handscombe, said they were considering bringing Venables back in to help feed the sharks.
