A fire ripped through a station building of a popular ride at the Alton Towers theme park in Staffordshire, UK on Sunday.
Around 50 firefighters tackled the blaze at one of the three station buildings of the Skyride cable car, which transports guests around the attraction.
No-one was injured in the fire, which broke out at around 7.30pm last night, as the ride was closed at the time.
According to a spokesperson, the theme park opened as usual today, but Skyride will be closed to the public for the rest of the season.
Alton Towers’ summer season ends on 11 November.
