MuseumNext launches digital income summit to help attractions tap into new revenue streams

Event will look to offer museums actionable advice on how they can better use technology to boost their income
Digital Income Summit will be organised by MuseumNext
Sessions will see more than thirty speakers sharing their ideas

A new event will offer museums and attractions actionable advice on how they can better use technology to boost their income.

Taking place in June 2021, The Digital Income Summit, organised by MuseumNext, will bring together more than thirty speakers to share insights, experiences and innovations which address how attractions can increases their revenues with digital.

Speakers will offer their views on how they have used digital to boost donations, find new revenue streams and win with e-commerce.

Those speaking include Geer Oskam, head of development at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, who will reveal how a bold new strategy has seen the institution double its fundraising income over the last four years.

Others include Brodie Lyon, Science Museum Group; Sarah Miguel, People's History Museum; Samer Makhlouf, Palestinian Museum; and Megan Machnik, National Museum of the American Indian.

Topics covered at the event will include cultural income generation, connecting with future generations, digital gift shops and new digital fundraising platforms.

Delivered through the MuseumNext conference hub, delegates will be able to watch the sessions live and put questions to the speakers. After the event all delegates will also have on-demand access to the talks until the end of 2021.
