TRX expands EMEA team with triple appointment
POSTED 03 Mar 2015 . BY Jak Phillips
Fitness industry veteran Anthony Foster has joined the TRX team as UK sales manager
TRX has announced three new appointments to further strengthen its EMEA team, having recently recruited Alan Holl from Virgin Active to serve as the region’s senior director.

The hat-trick of new hires sees Anthony Foster become UK sales manager, working with newly-appointed UK sales executive Gary Novak. They are joined by Louise Garth, who has been appointed EMEA sales operations manager.

Foster joins the TRX team after nearly three years at Fitness Systems, where he was UK commercial sales and marketing director. His career in fitness sales includes positions with Matrix, Cybex and Precor.

“Joining such a well-established brand like TRX presents a hugely exciting challenge,” said Foster. “I look forward to introducing the products to new and emerging markets and developing our offering within both the public and private sectors.

“Having worked for a variety of equipment providers, and as a club manager myself for over 20 years, my knowledge of the sales process from a client and supplier perspective will be key to maintaining, growing and creating new relationships for TRX”.

Novak arrives at TRX having previously held a sales executive position at Matrix, while Garth joins the TRX EMEA team having worked in operations at Virgin Active for nine years.

Alan Holl, TRX EMEA senior director, said: “The UK team’s expansion matches our aspirations to aggressively grow the business further in the UK and EMEA.

“Anthony and Gary bring a wealth of industry knowledge and sales experience which will be key to driving our sales strategy across key accounts whilst also reinforcing our strong relationships with distributor and commercial contacts. Louise will provide an essential support for our team with her internal sales and operations experience.”
