National tourist board VisitEngland has announced the launch of a new online tool to assist restaurants and cafés throughout the country cater for visitors with access requirements.
The Access Statement Online resource has been developed in collaboration with the British Hospitality Association and the Restaurant Association to provide detailed information.
Businesses using the tool will be able to provide a statement outlining facilities and specific services they might offer, which will be made readily available to potential visitors.
VisitEngland skills, welcome and accessibility manager Ross Calladine said: "Restaurants, like any other tourist venue, should provide as much information to visitors as possible."
