A new adventure play area has been unveiled at the Wildwood visitor attraction near Herne Bay, Kent - part of a wider construction project to expand and improve its visitor facilities.
At the centre of the new facility is the Tree Top Drop Slide, which is a modern version of a Victorian design and features a 26ft (7.9m) vertical drop at the start of the ride.
The adventure play park has been designed for users of all ages, with a slippery twisting drop slide and the wild fort with treetop towers among the facilities.
Wildwood's in-house ranger team have constructed the new equipment, while the drop slide has been created by artisan Alistair Guy.
"This new attraction will ensure we remain popular with children as they grow," said Wildwood chief executive Peter Smith.
