The Israel Government Tourist Office has released figures showing that the number of visitors to Israel from the UK has increased by 5 per cent since last year.
It is believed that Arsenal’s promotion of the destination via broadcasted advertisements on giant LCD screens and billboards at the club’s new Emirates Stadium has positively influenced opinions of Israel as a holiday destination.
Israel is the official sponsor of the Emirate’s Stadium in London – Arsenal’s new home.
