American Adventures, a theme park in Marietta, Georgia, US, has closed its doors.
The park posted a notice on its website simply reading: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will be closed until further notice. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.”
The park catered primarily for children aged 12 and under and boasted attractions such as a 40,000sq ft indoor foam factory, an 18-hole mini gold course and a go-kart track, as well as various amusement rides.
American Adventures was initially built as an extension of the Six Flags White Water park, but was leased by Zuma Holdings in 2008.
