Royal Caribbean cruises is due to launch the world’s largest cruise ship in April 2006.
Currently under construction at Aker Finnyards in Finland, Freedom of the Seas will be a 158-tonne ship accommodating 3,600 guests.
In comparison, Cunard’s Queen Mary II holds 2,620 passengers.
The new ship will feature a water playground called H20 Zone, an adults-only jungle-themed solarium, a designated sports pool and an ice rink.
Two further Freedom class-ships are planned to be in operation by
