BBC Worldwide has launched the Doctor Who Experience at London Olympia Two in West London.
The main element of the family attraction will be an immersive, timed dark walk experience where visitors will become involved in their very own Doctor Who adventure.
The 'show', which has been devised with input from Doctor Who executive producer and show runner Steven Moffat, will feature spectacular special effects and exclusively filmed footage.
Visitors will be put at the heart of the action helping the Doctor with a journey through time and space, fending off threats from iconic monsters along the way.
Other segments at the attraction include a freeflow exhibition charting the history of the show from the first series in 1963, comprising interactive areas, displays and memorabilia from the TV show.
Design and AV specialist Sarner was appointed to design, create and produce the attraction following a tender at the beginning of 2010.
Ross Magri, Sarner's managing director, said: "The biggest challenge for us wass applying the technical requirements required yet still delivering on the creative vision and hiding the technology from the visitor so we create a flawless show and a truly immersive experience."
