Your Magical Role

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be right in the heart of the magic, providing administrative support to the Sales and Marketing Department, planning and managing promotional, PR, social media and sales activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales:
  • Takes an active role in devising and implementing group and third party sales strategies
  • Answering incoming calls and making advanced bookings, as well as coordinating group arrivals with the operations team.
  • Build sales partnerships and voucher distribution with network marketing parties such as mom blogs, PTA’s, pre-schools, childcare centers and parent & toddler associations
  • Contact key decision makers at schools/youth organizations to communicate the product and build relationships to achieve endorsement and drive sales channels
  • Manage existing third party sales accounts on a local and national level as needed
  • Develop partnerships and sell tickets through local hotels, tourist offices, tour operators and other tourist portals
  • Develop and distribute trade marketing materials
  • Trade show participation, when planned & scheduled, as necessary
  • Manage internal communications with regards to sales initiatives and activities
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly sales reporting
Marketing
  • Takes an active role in devising and implementing marketing strategies, with a focus on marketing through digital channels
  • Develop and implement social media content in line with the overall marketing strategy and brand messaging guidelines
  • Develop and implement the CRM strategy, specifically email marketing, in line with the overall marketing messaging strategy
  • Assist with management of the website including regular content updates
  • Be the lead on community management, including responding to all guest reviews
  • Train internal & external teams with regard to brand & products
  • Working closely with the guest experience & commercial teams to promote teamwork and exceed secondary spend targets across the business
  • Submit and track marketing expenses
  • Assist the Marketing Manager with other marketing activities as needed
Your Magical Ingredients
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience across relevant sales and marketing disciplines such as advertising, media, promotions, and online.
  • The ability to network and influence across the leisure, tourism and business sectors.
  • A clear understanding of the local market, with a particular focus on children and parents, competitors and trading environment is also essential to the success of this role.
  • The ability to network and influence across the leisure, tourism and business sectors.
  • Data management with analytical and report writing skills.
  • Enthusiastic, boundless and infectious energy about the business and the ability to enthuse others.
  • Able and willing to work occasionally on weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Majors in business, marketing, communications and/or advertising preferred.
