| Xn Leisure unveils m-cast |

Leisure Industry Week 2007 saw Xn Leisure Systems showcasing its new m-cast digital communications product.
The new technology allows users to create their own in-house TV network, enabling direct communication of relevant and targeted messages to members and customers.
Offering the delivery of entertainment alongside advertising and promotional material, it also features an additional ticker tape system for displaying news, weather and local information. Media can be scheduled according to site location, demographic or day part.
Controlled and managed from either a central location or locally, media files and schedules are distributed to site via broadband. m-cast is compatible with all common media types including digital video, animations and streaming video.
The system is already operating in a number of South African casinos, displaying jackpot information on plasma screens, television sets and video walls in the Sun International, Gold Reef, Tsogo and Piermont Casinos.
Each location can show its own individually programmed promotional material - for its restaurant offering, special events, entertainment previews as well as paid advertising.
m-cast is also able to stream live television, such as sports events so patrons can keep in touch with the sports channels whilst still gaming.
The m-cast Casino Management System displays information about the amount of money in any of the slot machines and responds instantly to any jackpot event within either the local casino or the entire estate.
