At the Lion & Lobster, one of Brighton’s oldest and most traditional pub & restaurants, Fireco’s System X wireless fire safety system is being used to communicate with Dorgards fitted on fire doors throughout the premises. Owner Finn Whelan is delighted with System X “We have a maze of rooms, cosy little bars within the restaurant and kitchens on the first and second floors, so there are lots of fire doors. We get very busy, so it’s vital customers and staff can move about easily. System X is the perfect solution as it allows us to keep our fire doors open safely and legally, throughout the building”.
System X offers exceptional flexibility when managing a building's fire safety. It uses Wi-Fi technology to communicate with an unlimited number of fire safety devices within a 100m range (subject to a site survey), so installation is quick and easy.
Suitable for all environments including offices, hotels, restaurants and public areas, in particular where there is a requirement for fire doors to be held open legally, System X is fully fail to safe and compliant with BS EN 1155 and BS 7273-4, and suitable for any category of fire door.

Small Footprint, Big Significance: Studio City Water Park |
|
Long known for its fancy casinos, Macau realized within the past decade that it must
diversify its tourism scene to attract new crowds. With the ambition of becoming the
leisure hub of China’s 72-million strong Greater Bay Area, the city began adding shows,
attractions, and family-friendly hotels. But the offering that truly stands out with fun
for everyone is Studio City Water Park – Macau’s first stand-alone water park, with all
the water slides and aquatic play structures supplied by WhiteWater. |

How surf simulators are transforming the experience economy |
|
The experience economy, driven by evolving consumer trends, is poised for continued growth
in the coming years. Millennials have been at the forefront of this shift, favouring
memorable experiences over material possessions. This preference has extended to other
generations as well, indicating a broader adoption of experience-focused spending habits
in the attractions sector. |
