| Gateway wins ticketing contract at Tampa zoo

A leading Florida zoo has selected Gateway Ticketing Systems’ flagship product suite ‘Galaxy’ and ‘RevGen Solution’ for its ticketing and access control operations.
Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo turned to Gateway after it began a search for a unified POS solution to replace the system it was using, which offered limited functionality.
The zoo’s million plus annual visitors will be able to purchase tickets through Galaxy at ticket windows as well as the zoo’s ‘eGalaxy Consumer’ and ‘Mobile Web’ stores, which also offer group sales online. The zoo said the interactivity of Gateway’s solution and the ability to provide access control on tablet devices that can be used at both onsite and offsite locations, where a wired setting is not available, would be central in making operations more efficient.
Gateway has also provided the zoo with training on how to operate the system effectively.
