DJW kit for Bristol's new M Shed museum
03 Aug 2011 . BY Martin Nash
Audiovisual specialist, DJ Willrich (DJW) supplied a range of equipment for the recently opened M Shed museum in Bristol, UK.

The attraction, which received over 5,000 visitors on its opening weekend, features three galleries showing the history of Bristol, from prehistoric times to the present day.

The museum challenges the perceptions of what it has meant to live in Bristol over the centuries, through the recollections of the people who shaped the city.

Experts from DJW installed two projections and 60 ICT points, with touch-screen computers for public interaction.

Visitors can input their own thoughts and opinions into the computers and contribute to the changing story of the city.

DJW also installed video and audio points which members of the public can scroll through and select to play their own choice of sound bites and videos taken from the community, all sharing their memories of Bristol.
