Vigia Group, the owner and operator of eight resorts in the Algarve, is planning a number of expansion projects.
Leonor Ramalho, general manager of Vigia Resorts, said: “With the full support of our shareholders and with the potential to self-finance future investments, we have the ideal conditions to launch a number of new projects, including a five-star hotel at Parque da Floresta, plus a further three golf courses among other projects.
“These total an expected investment of several hundred million euros.”
The Parque da Floresta is Vigia’s flagship site, and includes an 18-hole golf course, a golf academy, four tennis courts, several outdoor heated pools, a fitness centre, an indoor pool, a football academy, four restaurants and two lounges.
