Visitors to Tower Bridge Exhibition this summer will discover a previously unseen area of the bridge that houses historical artefacts – including the Marathon Cup.
The third floor has been modified to be the first stop of the new North Tower route, where visitors will be able to experience the new exhibition space, before progressing up the steps through the North tower to the walkways.
Changing temporary exhibitions are planned throughout the year and extended summer opening hours will be expected to increase visitor numbers.
The new opening hours are: 10.00 – 5.30pm from 1 April to 30 September, and 9.30 – 5pm from 1 October to 31 March 2005. Details: www.towerbridge.org.uk
