Thalgo spa opens at Abu Dhabi Country Club

Arnaud Diaz, international director of Thalgo, said the location of its new spa represents the best foothold for its spa positioning in the GCC market
Abu Dhabi Country Club, UAE, has unveiled a 2,000sq m (21,528sq ft) Thalgo Spa this week in line with the emirate’s strategy to achieve tangible levels of economic diversification by 2030.

The spa is divided into three sections, one for men, one for women and one for VIP guests. In total there are 23 treatment rooms. Eight of these are for women, nine for men and six for VIPs. At the end of each section of the male and female zones, there is an ice fountain, a sauna, steamroom for two and a relaxation with heated marble seats.

The VIP section’s six treatment rooms – all doubles – include their own whirlpool and steamroom. Each of these rooms are fitted with treatment tables by Gharieni.

Arnaud Diaz, Thalgo’s international director commented: “We are very happy and honoured to be the exclusive spa skincare brand with Abu Dhabi Country Club, among the UAE’s leading destinations for leisure and sports. We consider it the best foothold for our spa positioning in the GCC market as we are committed to providing the best experiences meeting international standards while respecting and complying with the GCC culture through customised signature services.”

In addition to a number of anti-ageing, slimming, relaxation and rejuvenation programmes, Thalgo Spa will offer Polynesian massage and a lotus milk bath therapy – using essential oils originating from pressed wood.

Abu Dhabi Country Club, UAE, has unveiled a 2,000sq m (21,528sq ft) Thalgo Spa this week in line with the emirate’s strategy to achieve tangible levels of economic diversification by 2030.

The spa is divided into three sections, one for men, one for women and one for VIP guests. In total there are 23 treatment rooms. Eight of these are for women, nine for men and six for VIPs.
