Stockton Council has officially unveiled a new jetty as part of its wider £7m regeneration of Preston Hall Museum and Park, which will connect the historic park with the River Tees.
Birse Civils worked in partnership with the council to install the jetty as part of the six-week construction period, which saw a former jetty removed and replaced.
It is designed to boost access for pleasure boats and will also provide a gateway to the River Tees and Heritage Park, while being one in a number of planned riverside improvements.
Stockton Council corporate director for development and neighbourhood services Paul Dobson said: "The development of this new jetty is just one element of our ambitious regeneration programme."
