The SkyWheel visitor attraction will open on Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, US in May 2011.
Supplied by ride manufacturer Chance Morgan, the wheel will stand at 187 feet (60m) and span two ocean front lots along Ocean Boulevard, on the north side of Plyler Park.
The wheel, one of the largest in the US, will be owned and operated by Myrtle Beach SkyWheel, a joint venture between Koch Development and Pacific Development, both of St. Louis, Missouri.
