Image: The park will not continue to operate SkyStarHong Kong's Ocean Park has confirmed that it will "not continue" to operate the SkyStar helium balloon experience, following a report into an incident which took place in June.
The government's Electrical and Mechanical Services Department has completed the probe into why the ride crashed and injured a number of visitors to the tourist destination.
Ocean Park chair Allan Zeman said there are now plans to transform the space occupied by SkyStar into "a venue for events and exhibitions" to complement future projects.
