Nicholas Clayton joins GOCO Hospitality as president of new GOCO America division

Nicholas will elevate the brand and oversee GOCO’s expansion plans in America

GOCO Hospitality, global wellness consulting, development and management company, has appointed seasoned hospitality executive Nicholas Clayton as president of its recently-launched GOCO America divison.

In this newly created role, Clayton will guide the wider expansion of GOCO projects in America, including Glen Ivy Hot Springs.

“Nicholas is an experienced hospitality and wellness professional with demonstrated success in embedding a culture of excellence at world-class hospitality destinations across the globe,” commented Ingo Schweder, CEO of GOCO.

“We’re fortunate to have him as a part of our leadership team, to elevate the brand and oversee GOCO’s expansion plans in America.”

Clayton joins GOCO’s team of multidisciplinary professionals with decades of experience in leadership roles at luxury global hotel groups. He held CEO positions with Capella Hotel Group in Singapore, Jumeirah Group in Dubai and Viceroy Hotel Group in the US.

In addition, Clayton managed the operations of multiple renowned hotel properties within the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Having executed more than 400 projects across 40 countries, the rising interest in a holistic approach to health and wellbeing is at the forefront of GOCO’s vision for expansion in the US.

GOCO America will focus on identifying opportunities for consultancy, development and management of innovative concepts, delivering a turnkey solution for spa and wellness projects from ideation to operational reality.

GOCO America will also continue to innovate the offering Glen Ivy Hot Springs. Over the last five years, extensive renovations have been made across the property, including the re-engineering of 11 historic mineral springs, as well as upgrades and enhancements of pool decks and facilities, private cabanas, the guest reception, treatment facilities, the Bath House, the Ivy Kitchen and gardens.

The final phase of the multi-million dollar renovation project is in development and will include a world-class wellness resort and community spanning 60 acres adjacent to Glen Ivy.

GOCO Hospitality, global wellness consulting, development and management company, has appointed seasoned hospitality executive Nicholas Clayton as president of its recently-launched GOCO America divison.
