The Gibraltar Tourist Board has unveiled a new identity including a new corporate logo and tagline ‘Take another look’ which will be incorporated into all UK promotional material as part of its 2004 marketing campaign.
A red sun setting over a blue Rock of Gibraltar on a white background, the logo is intended to make reference to Gibraltar’s 300-year link to Britain, which is to be celebrated in a series of tercentenary events throughout 2004.
The new identity and advertising campaign has been designed to target a “more independent and contemporary traveller, seeking value for money, while exploring somewhere new and untried.”
Joe Holliday, minister for tourism, transport and the Port, said: “Awareness of Gibraltar has grown steadily in recent years. The overall objective remains to strengthen the destination’s image in key markets, promoting Gibraltar as a preferred Mediterranean destination.”
