A new gallery will be launched at Newry and Mourne Museum in County Down, Northern Ireland, with a temporary exhibition examining the history of the locality on 10 September.
Beliefs and Customs through the Ages in Newry and Mourne will mark the completion of the new facility, which aims to allow the attraction to stage a major year-long exhibition.
Museum curator Noreen Cunningham said: "The new gallery will offer the Museum new opportunities to expand its service and develop its audience further by offering visitors more variety and by dealing with exhibition themes in more detail."
