Hampshire County Council (HCC) has approved plans to overhaul its museums services as part of efforts to reduce public spending while maintaining collections.
Three attractions - Bursledon Windmill, Eastleigh; Rockbourne Roman Villa; and Curtis Museum and Allen Gallery, Alton - will be run under alternative delivery models.
HCC said the reforms would be guided by five principles, including widening participation; maintaining strategic collections; and generating income.
